TRADITIONAL song, dance and fabulous food from the Philippines made up the ‘Kultura’ cultural heritage day at The Radclyffe School, Chadderton.
Around 60 members of the Filipino Association of Oldham took to the stage to share their customs with the borough’s residents.
Youngsters and adults donned brightly-coloured costumes as they performed a range of traditional dances and songs from the Philippines.
Following the feast for the eyes and ears, visitors tucked into tasty traditional Filipino food from Manila and beyond.
The project was funded by a grant of £2,500 from First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) as part of their Respect Our Community Awards funding.
Joanna White, funding co-ordinator, said: “It was a wonderful day. There must have been around 200 people watching in the packed auditorium. The performers were really good and the association were so welcoming.”
