Burglar back in prison
Date published: 19 May 2011
A PROLIFIC burglar wanted on recall to prison has been arrested and returned to jail.
Gareth Robinson (21), from Oldham, was jailed for four years and four months in March, 2009, for a number of burglary offences.
He was released from prison on March 25 this year but has since breached the terms of his licence. He was arrested in Lees on Tuesday night.
Sgt Steve Hall, of Saddleworth and Lees Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: “Robinson is a prolific burglar who belongs behind bars. People can be assured that we will do all we can to ensure criminals see out their sentence when they breach their licence.”
