THE case of a 25-year-old care home worker charged with stealing precious items of jewellery from elderly residents has been adjourned until June 2.

Stacy Matthews, of Brunswick Street, Shaw, was arrested after three rings and three necklaces went missing at Dryclough Manor in Royton on December 17, last year.

The three female victims, who all suffer from dementia, are aged 81, 87 and 102.
