Residents flee fire

RESIDENTS were evacuated when a fire destroyed a terrace house in Coldhurst this morning.
Five fire engines from Oldham, Hollins and Chadderton attended the blaze in Collingwood Way which started shortly after midnight.
It spread to the roof space of two empty properties and the occupants of four other houses were evacuated.
Watch Commander Rick Cummins from Oldham said: “It was a serious fire by any standards.”
