Hammer man held

A MAN who drunkenly smashed windows with a hammer at Tesco in Greenfield has been remanded in custody as he awaits sentencing.
Callum Nield (21), of Queensway, Greenfield, has admitted criminal damage.
He appeared at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court yesterday where his case was adjourned until July 5. He caused £20,000 worth of damage during the wrecking spree on April 17.
