Cannabis and cash charges

TWO cousins have been charged after officers recovered a large amount of cash and cannabis in Oldham.
Shazad Hussain (25), of Brook Lane, Glodwick and Asad Hussain (24), of Brewerton Road, Salem, are both charged with money laundering and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
Officers recovered £23,000 during a search of a house on Higher House Close, Chadderton, on September 23 last year.
On November 12, last year, officers from the Operational Support Unit seized a BMW that was parked in Netherhey Street after noticing a strong smell of cannabis coming from the vehicle.
Cannabis valued at more than £22,000 and £4,670 in cash was recovered following a search of the car.
