SHAW Coronation Street star Shobna Gulati was shocked after racists targeted her on Twitter.

The 44-year-old actress, who plays Sunita Alahan, was taunted about her Indian heritage in a series of reportedly “nasty” messages. The mother-of-one is an active anti-racism campaigner, and was said to have been inundated with support from her fans after they learned of her upset over the Twitter attack.
