Duo on murder charge

TWO men have been charged in connection with the drive-by murder of Oldham dad Amran Khan.

Craig McKenzie (28), of Parkside Road, Moss Side, and Damien Green (30), of Aldwyn Crescent, Hazel Grove, Stockport, have been charged with murder.

Father-of-two Mr Khan (29) was shot on the doorstep of his Glodwick home on September 18, 2009.

The pair were due to appear at Oldham Magistrates’ Court today.

Two others, Brett Francis (27) and Jordan Francis (27), both of Birch Avenue, Oldham, were convicted of Mr Khan’s murder in March, last year, and sentenced to a minimum term of 28 years in prison.
