Shaw Parish Council Chairman John Hall's procession through Shaw
COUNCILLOR John Hall, the chairman of Shaw and Crompton Parish Council, held his civic service and procession yesterday afternoon.
He led his supporters on a walk around the town after he was re-elected unopposed for the position last month.
The Lib-Dem father-of-two, who has lived in Shaw for more than 36 years, held his service at St James East Crompton Church, Shaw.
People who took part in the civic event got the chance to enjoy refreshments in St James’ Parish rooms afterwards.
