Forget about the rumba... try the zumba

ENERGETIC youngsters tried their hand at an international dance craze that’s sweeping the globe.
Pupils at St Mary’s Primary, in High Crompton, worked up a sweat during zumba classes.
Children of all ages have been given the chance to experience zumba in a bid to boost their health the fun way.
The fitness programme, created by Alberto Perez in Colombia during the 1990s, combines international music with dance to make exercise fun.
Classes are made up of dance exercises to music with fast and slow rhythms teamed with resistance training.
