YOUNG footballers will be taking part tournament with a hard-hitting message.
Members of Oldham Youth Forum are aiming to tackle teenage attitudes following recent drugs raids in Coldhurst, Westwood and Hathershaw.
The group has organised a seven-a-side tournament at Oldham Academy North’s Grange astroturf pitches on Sunday, June 19.
The Chronicle is backing the event, along with several local businesses and organisations — which strives to pass on a message of hope for the community.
During the day, which begins at 10am, Forum members will promote their lottery funded Your Voice project.
