Experts cast eyes over valuables

CHERISHED collectables and valued heirlooms were on show in Uppermill yesterday as locals gathered to discover their worth during the Saddleworth Festival of the Arts.
Eager antique lovers brought their treasured possessions to the Saddleworth Museum, where valuation experts from Bonham’s were on hand to deliver their verdict.
Roger Tanner brought his collection of Pewter jugs for Jeremy Wood to cast his expert eye over, as the spirit of the Antiques Roadshow came to life.
Picture specialist Jane Winfrey admired a painting brought in by Anne Broe, while Alison Lowe brought in an intricately painted china plate.
