Biker rode at officer

A POLICE officer had to leap out of the way as a motorcyclist drove straight at him.
The officer escaped with a minor hand injury after the incident in Oldham.
It happened at around 4.45pm on Thursday as the officer was patrolling Curlew Road, Holts, following complaints from residents of off-road bikes in the area.
He noticed a motorbike driving down the road and made a signal for the driver to stop and pull over.
But the motorcyclist increased his speed and drove towards the officer, forcing him to jump out of the way.
The motorcycle is described as being a Q-reg green Kawasaki.
Sgt Gaynor Wardle, from Oldham West Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This man has little consideration for other road users and I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have seen a similar vehicle in the area driving erratically to contact us.”
