MAKING a difference . . . Becca Dale (centre) with other members of the youth council
The Every Life Matters campaign is out and about this week and took to the road with the Oldham Youth Bus yesterday.
The project, created to emphasise the risks of careless driving following the death of 15-year-old Blue Coat School pupil Chris Dale in 2009, is using T-shirts, wrist bands and black ribbons to get the message across.
The awareness week this week marks two years of the campaign founded by Chris’s sister Becca and Oldham Youth Council.
Chris, from Moorside, was killed when he was hit by a speeding car driven by Danny Pattinson (17) in Lees Road, Salem.
Pattinson was jailed for two-and-a-half years after being convicted of causing death by careless driving.
