A SLEEPY Saddleworth village was transformed into a musical hub over the weekend with the return of the Diggle Blues Festival.
Organised by local dad David Wood, ten acts took to the stage over three days at the Diggle Hotel, Hanging Gate pub, Diggle Band Club and Kilngreen Hall.
The acts took advantage of the sun, taking their music outside during the festival, that ran from Friday to Sunday.
The free event — the second — was the brainchild of David, who was inspired to set up the celebration after visiting the Marsden Jazz Festival.
