Rotary charity boost
Date published: 04 July 2011
ROTARY clubs will get by with a little help from the Oldham Evening Chronicle thanks to a bonanza charity donation.
Thrilled members of the Rotary Club of Saddleworth and Oldham Metro were handed a cheque for £540 following money raised during the run up to the Saddleworth Show.
The cash was raised through a tele-ad competition at the Chronicle, with money from adverts in the show advertising feature being donated to local and rotary charities.
