Student Robyn scoops university accolade

WORKING student Robyn Stevenson
A STUDENT who juggles her degree with work has won an award.
Robyn Stevenson is in the second year of a health and community studies course at University Campus Oldham (UCO) — and also works in the UCO library.
Now the 21-year-old, from Rochdale, been named as the On-Campus Student Employee of the Year 2011 for Huddersfield University and its campuses in Oldham and Barnsley.
The title was open to any student with a job at the university or the Students’ Union.
Robyn wants to be a teacher and intends to do a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. As well as being a library assistant, she is also a student ambassador and volunteers at her local primary school.
