Harassment charge over text messages

GRAHAM Henry Frederick Turner (31) of Fairview Avenue, Wallasey, appeared at Oldham Magistrates Court yesterday charged with harassment and public nuisance.
The charge of harassment is in relation to several text messages of a sexual nature being sent to a woman, which made reference to her two-year-old daughter.
The second charge of causing a public nuisance relates to numerous text messages of a sexual nature sent to females between October 9, 2010 and July 5, 2011.
Turner has been bailed with conditions until his next appearance before magistrates in August.
He must not enter Greater Manchester unless visiting his solicitor or the court; not have unsupervised contact with any male or female under 16; not have access to a mobile phone and to reside at his home address.
