Murder appeal bid

A HATHERSHAW man is appealing against his murder conviction.
Arfan Rafiq (26) of Villa Road, supplied the gun that was used to kill 27-year-old Nasar Hussain at Brookhouse Wines in Salford on July 4, 2009.
The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed: “The appeal notice has been received and now we are waiting for the court to decide whether leave to appeal will be granted.”
