Marion Wolfenden, pictured on her 105th birthday
Centenarian Marion Wolfenden has died aged 105.
She celebrated her landmark birthday on January 11, this year at Millfield residential home in Waterhead, where she died on Thursday.
The grandmother of two lived alone in Watersheddings until she turned 102.
Marion, who never smoked or drank alcohol, was born in Hollinwood and ran a herbalist’s shop with her late husband Dudley in Waterloo Street. Oldham, for several years.
