Drugs charges

TWO men have been charged in relation to one of Oldham’s biggest drugs seizures.

Sheraz Latif (26), of Duke Street, Shaw, and Mark Leach (50), of no fixed address, were both charged with possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

Both appeared before Oldham Magistrates’ Court last Thursday and will appear in court at a later date.

Police seized cannabis worth an estimated £1 million at a garage on the Trent Mill Industrial Estate on Duchess Street, Shaw, last Tuesday.
