IT'S TOAST: Staff at the Whitegate Inn Beefeater Grill helped to construct these two giant mosaics of Pippa Middleton from crumpets
TO celebrate Pippa Middleton being hailed the nation’s top breakfast companion, restaurant staff have made a mouth-watering mosaic in her honour.
Staff at the Whitegate Inn Beefeater Grill in Chadderton, helped construct two giant mosaics of the Royal Wedding star... entirely from 15,000 crumpets and 150 jars of spread.
The striking artworks, designed and created by food artist Laura Hadland, saw the breakfast goods — weighing in at over a ton, used to recreate the socialite.
A close-up of Pippa’s face as well as a cheeky recreation of the now infamous backside shot from this year’s Royal Wedding were depicted, taking over 24 hours to complete.
