Coffee and sale

TAKE a break at a coffee morning tomorrow at Roman Road Independent Methodist Church, Failsworth, 10am-noon. Stalls include home-bake, books, hand-crafted cards, new-to-you baby clothes, bric a brac. Refreshments ser-ved. In aid of church funds.

FOOTBALL fans aged 11 to 16 can join the Friday Night Footy League launching on Friday at 8pm at Failsworth Soccer Centre. £2 per week. The project is a partnership between Failsworth School and Soccer Centre, Oldham Athletic Community Trust, Oldham Integrated Youth Service and within the Failsworth Learning Co-operative Trust. CAKES, games and face painting are just some of the activities on offer at a family fun-day at the Vaal Street Community Centre, Hollinwood, on Saturday, organised by Street Link, a community project run by the New Life Church in Failsworth.

YOUNGSTERS aged three to 11 with additional needs and their siblings can attend the HANDS club on Saturday at the Avenues Community Hall, First Avenue, 1pm to 3pm. £1. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
