CIARON NUTTALL: missing since March
Police plea to Ciaron ahead of funeral
POLICE are urging a missing Oldham teenager to get in touch following the death of his beloved grandmother.
Ciaron Nuttall (19) was last seen in Cardigan Street, Royton, on March 5.
His phone, social network accounts and banl account have all remained unused since then.
Ciaron’s grandmother, Margaret Keogh (59), who lived in the Castleton area, died at the weekend. Her funeral is next Wednesday in Castleton.
She will later be laid to rest with Ciaron’s sister, Jade, who died aged six months.
Prior to his disappearance Ciaron was a regular visitor to his grandparents and a hand-written letter in a sealed envelope was left by Margaret for Ciaron.
Police are also investigating possible sightings of him in Rochdale and Bury.
Ciaron is white, 5ft 9in tall, of slim build with short, brown hair and has links to Oldham and Rochdale and family members in Wigan.
Senior investigating officer Andy Tattersall, said: “This is an incredibly upsetting time for the family, who are grieving for one relative and are desperately worried about another.
“Ciaron’s family want nothing more than for him to come home for the funeral and receive the letter specially written for him by his grandmother. At the very least they just want to hear from him to know he is safe and well.
“If anyone knows where Ciaron is, what has happened to him or has seen him please call us. I would also encourage Ciaron to go home and be with his family at this sad time.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161-856 2446, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
