A FOOTBALL tournament at Chapel Road attracted more than 250 young people from across Oldham.
The all-day Oldham Community Cohesion Summer Football Tournament saw youngsters split into three age groups.
Players were given the chance to impress scouts from Oldham Athletic who watched from the touchline.
Rokib Miah, of Oldham Athletic Community Trust, said: “I am really pleased with how the day went. Everyone who took part showed a great attitude and displayed some really good football.”
Those spectating were treated to music by local DJ Simian Findlater, while the day also served as an opportunity for Oldham Community Health Services to promote their current health campaigns.
Overall winners were Greenhill FC (under-13s), Juno United (under-16s) and Oldham Greenhill FC (under-19s).
