Now for a party in the park

CELEBRATIONS are in the offing for the Limeside Friends of the Park who scooped a bumper £50,000 grant for a new play area.
The cash, from the Community Spaces programme, will go towards creating a children’s area in Limeside Park.
The scheme helps community groups in England create or improve green, open spaces.
Sarah Furbey, from social landlord Contour Homes and secretary of the Friends group, said they were thrilled to hear they had received the funding.
She added: “It’s great news as the children of Limeside are finally going to get the play area they deserve.
“We are planning to have the facility ready in time for October half-term and are currently busy planning a big celebration day for everyone to enjoy.”
