Eight off to Oxbridge

EIGHT super students at Oldham Sixth Form College have secured a place at Oxbridge.
Ryan Murphy, a former Failsworth School pupil, achieved 5A*s, four in physics, maths, further maths and computing and one at AS level in the extended project qualification. He is now going on to St Hugh’s College, Oxford to read mathematics.
Others who made the Oxbridge grade include Thomas Miller who got five A* grades, Bethany Cox, Morgan Gibson, Robert Holt, Joshua Matley, Joe Kidd, and Liam Ratcliffe. The successful applicants have matched the college’s previous record for progression to Oxbridge in 2002.
