Date published: 23 August 2011
A FOUR-VEHICLE pile-up and ongoing roadworks near Oldham culminated in rush-hour chaos yesterday.
The cars all collided in lane one on the M60, between junction 22 (Failsworth) and junction 23 (Ashton) around 4.40pm.
Police said two people received minor injuries. The stretch of motorway currently has a speed limit of 40mph due to ongoing work. Tailbacks stretched from the crash scene to Stockport.
