BIRTHDAY toast: Sally Kershaw
FORMER sportswoman Sally Kershaw doesn’t want presents when she clocks up 100 years on Monday.
Instead, the kind-hearted soon-to-be-centenarian has requested donations to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Royton.
Oldham born and bred, Sally was a star all-rounder on the local scene in her heyday.
Football, cricket and swimming were just a few of the sports Sally excelled in.
She will celebrate her birthday with friends and her nephew at the Oakdene care home in Lees, where she now resides.
