SUCCESS came early for 14-year-old Jack Glynn
GCSE RESULTS
EXAMS joy came early for a dedicated pupil at Waterhead Academy who has passed four GCSEs at the age of 14.
Jack Glynn, who attends the Moorside campus, scored 4A* GCSEs in English, maths, French and science.
It’s been a labour of love for the ambitious pupil who put in extra work with classmates to achieve early success.
He said: “It has been hard work, I studied French for five hours a week, did extra classes and after-school work.
“Fingers crossed I’ll match these grades next year.”
Jack is not stopping there though, he’s taking up another GCSE next year in geography with the aim of notching up another grade in just one year.
His Year 10 friends also shared in his results jubilation as well as 16-year-old pupils who scored a bumper set of achievements.
Mohammed Ali was singled out as the academy’s shining star as he opened his envelope to reveal 10 GCSEs with eight A grades.
