Rape-charge remand

A teenager arrested for the rape of a 16-year-old girl in Hathershaw has had his bail extended until Wednesday, October 5.
The girl was allegedly assaulted in the early hours of Saturday, March 5, in Forest Street. The 19-year-old was later arrested on suspicion of rape as well as theft in a separate incident.
