Date published: 02 September 2011
THREE Oldham men have appeared in court after a nationwide £20 million fraud investigation.
Kevin Pomeroy (45), of Stamford Drive, Failsworth, Donald Green (22), and James Chapman (21), both of Sycamore Avenue, Chadderton, are each charged with two counts of conspiracy to defraud.
They appeared at Manchester City Magistrates Court for the first time yesterday and will next appear at Manchester Crown Square on Thursday, September 22.
The charges follow an investigation by the Greater Manchester Police Fraud Unit into allegations that identities of high-profile businesses were hijacked and millions of pounds worth of goods fraudulently ordered.
