Man, 37,on warehouse murder charge

A MAN was due to appear at Oldham Magistrates Court today charged with murder after the discovery of a body in a derelict warehouse.
Darren McCann (37), of no fixed address, is accused of killing Matthew Alexander Barrett (38), a homeless man who lived in Oldham.
Police were called to the warehouse on Partington Street, Mumps, early on Tuesday morning after his body was found.
A Home Office post-mortem examination was carried out, which revealed that the death was from multiple injuries.
