Night-out ban for violent reveller
Date published: 07 September 2011
A JUDGE punished a young woman to no more weekend nights out after a street bust-up.
Gemma Richards (24), of Wells Road, Oldham, caused severe bruising to a woman’s eye after punching her outside a bar in Oldham town centre last year.
Judge Bernard Lever ordered a night-time curfew and told Richard to pay £650 compensation, with £250 court costs.
He told her: “With an electronic tag from Friday to Sunday nights, you will not be drinking alcopops and hitting people.
“You will now be home drinking Britvic Orange.”
