A MAN accused of murdering a homeless man in Oldham has been remanded in custody.
Darren McCann (37), of no fixed address, is accused of killing Matthew Alexander Barrett (38), whose body was discovered in a derelict warehouse.
He appeared at Manchester Crown Court yesterday, where his case was adjourned until November 7.
Police were called to the warehouse on Partington Street, Mumps, early last Tuesday morning after the body was found.
A Home Office post-mortem examination revealed that the death was caused by multiple injuries.
