Daniel McDonagh: wanted by police
POLICE are hunting an Oldham man wanted in connection with a £20 million fraud conspiracy.
Daniel McDonagh (23), also known as Daniel Pomeroy, is being sought following an investigation by Greater Manchester Police’s Fraud Unit into allegations the identities of high-profile businesses were hijacked and millions of pounds worth of goods fraudulently ordered.
Three people have already been charged in connection with the offence.
McDonagh is also wanted for failing to answer court bail having been charged with a separate fraud offence relating to computers up to the value of £8.9 million, which were purchased with false cheques between April 2 and 5.
Police are appealing to anyone who knows of his whereabouts to call Greater Manchester Police on 0161-872 5050 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
