OLDHAM Athletic has teamed up with internet company ADSL24 from Delph to offer broadband services to the public and fans.
The Boundary Park club is believed to be the first in the league to offer branded broadband.
There is a choice of packages including fibre and mobile broadband at competitive prices. Customer services are all based in the United Kingdom. One-month contracts are available and account holders will receive their own club email address.
As the product develops, there will be access to club competitions and mobile games.
Latics chief executive Alan Hardy said: “We have been working on this product for almost 12 months in partnership with ADSL24 and now feel we can offer fans something which they will find advantageous.
Steve Williams, managing director of ADSL24, said: “WeAreLatics.net is the first of its kind in the country where fans can can support their club and receive superfast broadband speeds, local sales and support.
