FIRE fighters were called to Glodwick shortly after 5.30am today following reports of an explosion.
They tackled two blazes which destroyed a portable cabin and damaged another, along with a goods vehicle.
Officers found no evidence of an explosion at the George Dew building storage yard, which is believed to have been disused.
A fire service spokesman said that police were investigating the suspected arson.
