Tevez disappoints waiting press pack
Date published: 15 September 2011
A MEDIA scrum gathered outside Oldham magistrates court yesterday hoping to catch a glimpse of a Manchester City star.
Carlos Tevez (27) was charged with failing to disclose who was driving his Bentley Continental when it was flashed by a speed camera on Chester Road, Stretford.
The Argentinian, who reportedly earns in excess of £200,000 a week, was allegedly travelling at 38mph in a 30mph zone.
His solicitor said Tevez has representatives to open and read his mail for him as he cannot speak very good English and they could not confirm whether a document regarding the offence had been received.
The case was adjourned until September 21 when a plea is expected.
