AN Oldham actor has been jailed for 11 years for smuggling £680,000 of heroin through the post.
Syed Ahmed, of Napier Street, rented a flat in Bury as a delivery point for a consignment containing 14 white tubs each with half-a-kilo in paste form inside.
Ahmed (25), who starred in the independent movies “Bradford Riots” and “Yasmin”, denied importing controlled drugs but was found guilty at a second trial.
