Police in double injury probe

POLICE are investigating two separate incidents in Greenacres which left two men in hospital.
On Thursday night, police were called to Greenacres Road, near Huddersfield Road, after reports that a man was injured in the road after falling out of a moving car.
A 32-year-old man was found with serious head injuries and taken to hospital in a critical condition. The car failed to stop. Two women aged 30 and 41 have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in police custody.
On Friday night a 50-year-old man was taken to hospital after being found in Huddersfield Road with serious head and leg injuries. Police found the victim after being called out at 9.50pm following reports of a fight.
The man was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital where he remains in a “serious but not life-threatening condition”. He has not yet been able to give an account of what happened. Three men aged 34, 26 and 24 were arrested on suspicion of assault.
