Radclyffe in top uni project
Date published: 28 September 2011
RADCLYFFE was one of only two North-West schools to take part in a pilot project to encourage more state pupils to apply to Oxford University.
Ten Year 11 students yesterday attended the university’s investigating-options day which included academic taster sessions and talks on A-level choices and post-university career options.
Two teachers from the school also found out more about the Oxford application process and how to prepare students for a research-intensive university course.
Assistant head teacher Nicola Arnold said “This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience life at one of the top universities in the world.”
