‘X-Factor’ dream ends for Holly

“X Factor” hopeful Holly Repton had her hopes dashed after failing to make it through the TV show’s boot camp.

The talented 16 year old, from Chadderton, was chosen by judges as one of the final 32, after beating off stiff competition from thousands of others.

Hopes were riding high on the former Oasis Academy student, but she was pipped at the post, narrowly missing out on taking a place in the final eight in the girls category.

She was among the hopefuls invited to mentor Kelly Rowland’s Miami house, to fight for a spot in the final line-up at the weekend.
