DEDICATED: Christine Coupe with her award.
CARING Christine Coupe has scooped a regional award for her dedication within the industry.
The Moorside mother of two was awarded the North- West Homecare Co-ordinator award at the North-West Great British Care Awards ceremony held at Blackpool Tower.
Christine (33) manages a team of around 30 staff who together provide up to 800 hours of individual personalised care for vulnerable Oldham adults on a weekly basis.
Christine, who received the award from former “Coronation Street” and current “Loose Women” star Sally Lindsay, said: “It is so nice to be recognised and know that what you do makes a difference.
“I fell in love with the job when I first started and I still love it today. It’s really important to us that we provide care to people in an environment they feel comfortable in, like their home and maintain that as long as possible.”
Christine continues a run of Domus Healthcare employees collecting awards for their outstanding care in the last few years.
She now goes forward for the national awards in May, held in London.
Oldham-based care professionals Amanda Looseley, Rebecca Sharrocks and Janet Hilton also attended the gala dinner, as finalists in their categories.
