Moors victim’s brother dies
Date published: 27 October 2011
THE younger brother of Moors murder victim John Kilbride has lost his battle with cancer after a tireless campaign to keep the killers behind bars.
Danny Kilbride (59), of Audenshaw, was 11 when John (12) — the second of the five victims — was snatched from Ashton market, strangled and buried in a shallow grave in 1963. Danny became a spokesman for his devastated family and insisted life should mean life for killers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.
