The message is simple, clear . . . and very large.

This huge banner covers the ground and first-floor windows of the Dog Inn pub, in Lansdowne Road, Chadderton.

It was put in place ahead of Armistice Day tomorrow and Sunday’s memorial events. On Sunday, the nation will fall silent at 11am to remember and honour those who sacrificed their lives in conflict.
