Man held over sex assaults on bus

A MAN has been arrested on three counts of sexual assault.
He remains in police custody after three female bus passengers on separate occasions fell victim to a man who stroked their thighs as he sat next to them last Wednesday evening.
In a separate and unrelated incident, a 45-year-old man has been charged after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a bus travelling from Failsworth to Manchester.
Francis Mozhiparambil-Porichunny, from Failsworth, is charged with one count of sexual assault. he will appear at Manchester City Magistrates Court on December 9. On Sunday, September 25, a 17-year-old girl was travelling on the number 83 bus along Oldham Road from Failsworth to Manchester when a man sat next to her and sexually assaulted her.
Police believe there may have been a similar incident on the same bus and are appealing for potential victims and witnesses to contact them.
