Ian scoops director of the year gong

AN Oldham chief executive who has built his company into a pioneering housing group has been named Lancashire Director of the Year.
Ian Perry, from Uppermill, received the honour at the Institute of Directors (IoD) North West Awards in Manchester.
Mr Perry has been chief executive of Harvest Housing Group, based at Apex House, Levenshulme, since 1985, when the group had 35 employees and 2,800 properties.
Under his leadership, Harvest has grown to a company of 18,000 properties and 740 employees, and a £75million turnover.
Mr Perry (61) said: “I am delighted to be recognised. Such recognition cannot be gained alone; I share this award with all our staff and my family.”
