Corrie star rebailed

OLDHAM actor Michael Le Vell has been rebailed on suspicion of sexually abusing a schoolgirl.
The “Coronation Street” star, who plays garage owner Kevin Webster, was arrested at his home in Hale on September 30.
He had been bailed until yesterday but police say that has now been extended until January.
The actor has strenuously denied the allegation, made to police in September. Greater Manchester Police said his arrest followed a report of a historical offence made to them.
The father-of-two, real name Michael Turner, trained at Oldham Theatre Workshop before making his name playing the mechanic turned garage owner on the cobbles for the past 28 years.
