WARM welcome: staff nurse Sue Baynham, Michelle Marsh and daughter Maddison
GLAMOUR model Michelle Marsh has returned home to back Dr Kershaw’s.
The TV personality is the new patron of the hospice - and has pledged to help any way she can.
One of her first acts will be to join the hospice’s fundraising “Santa Stroll”.
Michelle recently lost a close family friend at Dr Kershaw’s — someone who had played Santa for Trinity Church in recent years. She will don a Santa suit in his memory.
The blonde bombshell was born and raised in Royton and educated at Crompton House school.
After school she worked at a local nursing home before her rise to become one of the country’s best-loved models.
Michelle has featured in several popular TV shows, including “The Weakest Link” and “Celebrity X Factor”. In 2007 she married ex-Latics skipper Will Haining. The couple appeared in “Celebrity Four Weddings” and won £5,000, which was donated to Dr Kershaw’s.
Along with caring for her two children, Maddison and Owen, Michelle still enjoys a successful career as a singer and entertainer.
